our community

Saint Ambrose Academy creates a unique support space for Catholic homeschooling families in the surrounding Pittsburgh area and fosters a spirit of community among participating families.

Classical Curriculum

We primarily follow Mother of Divine Grace’s syllabi for grades K through 12th. Preschool and kindergarten include a Montessori program for a 2.5 hour cycle, followed by a physical education class.

Education Model

We provide in-classroom lessons Monday and Wednesday by qualified instructors. Using the same curriculum, parents are responsible for continuing their child’s education at home on Tuesday and Thursday.

"Let your door stand open to receive Him, unlock your soul to Him, offer Him a welcome in your mind, and then you will see the riches of simplicity, the treasures of peace, the joy of grace."
