Saint Ambrose Academy (SAA) aims to create a unique support space for Catholic homeschooling families in the surrounding Pittsburgh area and throughout the US as well as foster a spirit of community among participating families. Saint Ambrose Academy meets twice weekly for classes implemented by qualified instructors in order to educate children in a classroom setting in partnership with their parents at home as a Catholic hybrid homeschool co-op.

Saint Ambrose Academy, for the 2022-2023 school year, will follow Mother of Divine Grace School's syllabi in almost all subject areas for grades K through 10th. Mother of Divine Grace School offers a Catholic, classical approach to learning.
Preschool (3 and 4 year-olds) & Kindergarten (4 to 5 year-olds) will follow a combined Montessori program for a 2.5 hour cycle followed by a physical education class.
Saint Ambrose Academy: Main is located in the old Church of the Assumption school building. See Contact Us for specific address and map (35 N Jackson Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202) .
Saint Ambrose Academy (SAA) does not operate through the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese. SAA is a separate non-profit organization who rents a building from the Diocese.
Please note that SAA is not an affiliate of Mother of Divine Grace (MODG), we follow their syllabi both in the classroom and at home, as it is an excellent academic and solidly Catholic program. While Mother of Divine Grace is an accredited program, SAA itself is not independently accredited.
